Starting Monday, November 13, we'll add T-95, Wichita (that's Kansas) as the next affiliate to what we'll officially be calling the Todd and Tyler Radio Empire

The Empire launches Monday morning on Z-92, Omaha and Z-106.7, Springfield, MO. If you're a listener we're gonna require your assistance in explaining the show to a new audience. (and, if you get a chance....explain it to us once in a while)

If you're already a regular listener, we wanna say thanks and assure you that this venture will be a good thing for both the audience and the hosts.

The Reader's story about the new stations also makes mention of a website, though it's not active right now:

The empire web site was launched Friday, it looks just like the Z92 one, except its color blind.

We got a couple answers about the show today....

Big Voice Guy's contract was up, "and he wanted something like 8 million dollars" according to Todd, and that's why he's been replaced. "Where's BVG" seems to be the most popular call that Jeremy has been getting.

And to all the syndication haters out there, Tyler mentioned that "if they weren't going to be syndicated, they'd be moving out of town".

So if you're still hating the syndication, you'd probably hate the guys more if they moved out of town and we got stuck with "Spanky the Rock and Roll Monkey". Lesser of two evils I guess!

I wondered this also, but haven't been here for a coupla days. If his contract was really up though, how come Z92 is still using him? I have no answers, but damn I love the questions.

For a company that was having problems filling ads for some of its stations, some advertisers I talked to are pissed because they only had 2 weeks noticed about syndication, and they made changes in spots too. They don't use 10 second spots anymore, you have to use a 6 second spot.

I have been under a rock for the past few weeks and just found out about the syndication this A.M. I just hope that the syndication doesn't go so well that the show can be done from anywhere, if you know what I mean.

I gotta believe that part of what makes the show rock is the Omaha factor. I mean really, where else do you find bitching fodder like the Huskers, Pat Loontjer and crazy western NE conservavtives, if not in Omaha?
