The podcast RSS feed and forum for the Todd and Tyler Show is turned off because they only keep one day's worth of shows, and rewrite each segment of the show with the same name, so it doesn't add any value to keep posts of links to podcasts that are inaccurate.

It didn't allow for corrections in the feed, and the Z92 feeds don't support the itunes client correctly (which this forum uses in its podcast link), so its been disabled.

I just shouted this, but what if you tried keeping a list of the exact addresses for the week...? It's kind of a stupid idea, though, because it only works for a little while.

Don't quote me on this, but it seems they keep a week's worth of shows until the weekend and then clear the slate again for each week. Therefore, I *think* on Friday (11/10), one could still access a file for Monday (11/6) segment 9 if they wanted via "http://media . z92 . com/m9.mp3" (without the spaces)...but by Monday (11/13) of the next week, one cannot access Friday's show. Or perhaps Z leaves Friday's show (the immediate predecessor) for that one day but wipes all the others clear. Then on Tuesday (11/14), everything from the previous week is cleared for the new week's shows.

It makes sense in a saving-server-space sense. I'm the one who likely doesn't make sense.

I understand pulling the plug on the feed though. TnTU Bot was just racking up her post count

I need to give away TnTU Bot's throcks to charity. I'll figure something out that will be better.

I thought that Monday's and Tuesday's (todays) were both named t1.mp3 through t11.mp3, but maybe not. Do they seem to name them like that?
m?.mp3 - Monday
t?.mp3 - Tuesday
w?.mp3 - Wednesday
th?.mp3 - Thursday
f?.mp3 - Friday
?

When they first did it, it used to be the whole word...then it became abbreviations like "mon1, tue4, etc."

But nowadays Tarbox/Jeremy just label them like you have listed, 1-11

I don't blame them for keeping all of the shows...each file is huge (20+ Mb, usually). But I would imagine they have to have room for the last 7-14 shows. Or, at least, don't wipe the archive clean at the beginning of each week, just update the specific day.

Meaning, Z should have Monday and Tuesday's shows from this week, and Wed-Fri of last week's shows...but beggars can't be choosers, I guess

Speaking of podcasts. I can't download segment 9 from todays(tuesday) podcast. Anyone else having this problem or perhaps know a way to make it work.

I am having the same issue as well. I think if Tony Tarbox (the tech guy for TnT) is still in studio, he could have it fixed in no time. The numbers to call the studio are: (402)938-9200 or toll free at 1-800-955-9230

I'm pretty sure the third shift is played off those links, so there may not be a segment 9 tonight

I could be wrong, but I'm fairly confident the third shift didn't play "Stairway to Heaven" again on Sunday night, for instance...I guess it could just be how Jeremy burned them to CD, though. That's why I wouldn't be surprised if it's omitted.

If someone listens tonight, I'd be interested to know about this

Yep, I was about to edit my post.

I think Tarbox and Jeremy both do it...but I would think that, this time, it was Tarbox's gift of the PC that solved this "crisis"

As was mentioned elsewhere, the Freaker's ball pictures have apparently disappeared from the site as well.

Is the Z having some trouble paying their web fees? Or is this a sign of future site changes...

I'm not saying I mind that those pictures are gone, I'd much rather have archived show segments (since I tend to miss most of the show)
