Better than a Reese's.. Take Jiff creamy peanut butter and a Hersey's chocolate bar and dip the bar into the peanut butter.. YUM!!

At schools now they do serve the Smucker's peanut butter and jelly sandwiches - which in all reality really are nothing like a real peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It has no crust and has been frozen..

I looked-up peanut butter in my cook book. I am alarmed at how easy it is to make. I can't believe anyone would store buy if they knew (you need a food processor, but big deal). With like 12 cents you can make 5 lbs. of it.

I haven't tried the homemade peanut butter but the organic peanut butter that has to be refrigerated doesn't have the same taste and the oil starts to separate.

No Mr. Dave, you are correct. There was a "Google" and its advertisements implored that you try the one with the "Goooo--gooo-gooooly eyes." It was similar to Goober--the Smuckers marketing machine reigning supreme. Google was a mix, as I recall, of peanut butter and a fudgy chocolate. As a stock boy in 1977, I "stocked the Google" (band name?).

One of the products that was discontinued was Koogle. There is an interesting advertising story to this peanut butter and chocolate combination introduced in 1971 - a special language called Kooglese was developed as part of the campaign.

However most of us here were to young to remember it.. Sorry ..

I looked for "Goober"... Couldn't find it.....

But I did find Hy-Vee brand peanut & butter & grape jelly mix...., called "Hy-Vee Peanut & Butter & Jelly"....
