I'm wondering what the calendar process will be like next year with the show being syndicated. Will they take pics from women in the syndicated towns? If so, does that mean if those girls win, they'll have find their own means of transportation to Omaha for the photo shoot? Or later to promote the calendar?

And even the new 2007 calendar, will those be sent to Springfield and Wichita stores also?

I doubt they'll do a calendar next year. I don't think they've been pimpin' this year's calendar on the show. It was a work in progress when the syndication deal was finalized.

Why wouldn't they do a calendar next year? Especially now that they're syndicated, you'd think they'd want every product they can get their hands on to sell merchandise, which would promote the show even more.

They promoted it last week when they announced the calendar release party. I forgot where it was at, but they mentioned all the girls would be there for autographs, plus TnT as well.

The only thing I haven't heard is if they are on sale to the general public as yet, and where. I assume Homers, but I haven't heard them say anything.

I also hope Jessica Dol is in this one, like she was last years. She was the best thing about that calendar. I also hope they aren't going to put out a "making of" calendar DVD like last year. That was expensive and lame as hell.

If you had read my first posting on this thread, you'd see that I asked the very same question. I asked "Will they take pics from women in the syndicated towns? If so, does that mean if those girls win, they'll have find their own means of transportation to Omaha for the photo shoot?". Women from other towns could submit their photos. But I'm wondering if Journal Broadcasting would front the bill to fly these women to Omaha. I'd really welcome submissions from other cities. Cause, in every year's calendar, I wouldn't consider all 12 of the girls as total hotties. I'd say maybe 6 out of 12 are actually hot. The other are. . . .okay.

I have other complaints about the calendars, but I'll wait until I get one.

How can I complain about the calendar? Easy. Here are several reasons why the calendar's are less than perfect.

* In most cases, the picture of the month is not as good as the smaller picture shown in one of the little calendar squares.

* Not all of the calendar girls are "freaking hot" as TnT sing that they are. At least not in past calendar's. In fact, in their first calendar, one girl was a serious dog.

* The letter font, size, and color of each calendar girl's name is the same letter font, size, and color of the sponsor. Couldn't they be different since it's identifying two entirely different subjects? The letter font color is white. Sometimes the background of the picture is white, so you can't make out the girl's name or the sponsor.

* There is no hole for the nail in order to hang it on your wall like most calendar's have. Granted, you can make a hole when you pin it up, but as the year progresses, it's harder to align the previous month holes to get the nail through.

SR - First of what makes you the authority on what classifies a woman as "hot" or a "dog". Yes it is a calendar but it is for EVERYONE - not just you. If all the girls were the same than it wouldn't appeal to everyone just one type of guy.

It is a $6.00 calendar not a $75 print or a $5000 piece of artwork. Just a calendar with women in it.. Let the small stuff go or you will never be happy.

As far as a hole goes - If you want to put one in the calendar -buy a hole puncher. Maybe some people don't hang their calendars on a nail - I put mine on a cork board and use push pins so I would think the hole was a waste.. Now that I have wasted two minutes of my life on the discussion of a hole in a calendar - just shot me

SR - you opinions are most welcome here. I think we are just baffled by the amount of time you have spent analyzing the calendars. Do you work for a company that makes calendars? Do you have insider tips that you know will sell more calendars? Or did you just sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night.. (Ok I hope you don't take this personal and just realize that we can agree to disagree. You are still very welcome here at the site)

Uhm. I'm a guy. But the calendar girl I'm referring to was mentioned by a guest that TnT had that year who was looking through the calendar and said the same thing, but in more polite terms. Tyler replied "Er, well, yeah". Tyler also said that there was something wrong with the printing that year.

I guess it'd just be nice if the quality matched the hype it gets.

I'm also disappointed that J Dol isn't in this year's. I'm glad she was in last year's, but makes me wonder why she was even in last year's, from a logistics perspective. But then, I think Jess should be featured anywhere without a reason.

It might be interesting if they'd feature a featured female "celebrity" every year like they did with Jess last year. Like perhaps "Cheap Bastard" Megan. She sounds awfully cute. And she did sent Jeremy a pic of herself.

And I'd still like to see "Phone Sex" Lori from a couple years ago.

I might actually like it more if some of the women were normal looking and not all freakin beautiful to make me feel bad.
Also, it is $6.00, and to keep costs low, they might sacrifice a few things, like the hole.
Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder, and although I am sure I would be classified as a "dog" by some, there are a certain group of people (demented or not) who don't find me totally repulsive. So be careful with that little judgement.
As for Jdol not being in it, maybe it is just something she wanted to try once. Plus if they are totally nude...maybe she didn't feel she wanted to do that.
Just my little 2 cents worth.

I expect the women to be hot and they ARE. - Playboy Calendars are made up of 12 women from all over the United States (not just the Omaha area). Plus the women who model get fame and fortune, all the women here get are guys like you jerking off to them, who then turn around and bitch about their looks. Bad comparison. How about comparing it to another calendar? But the TnT calendar can't even be compared it to a Playboy calendar. - Oh I am so sorry my comparison wasn't up to your standards.. I've had these complains every year since they've put these calendars out. Someone's got to say something sometime. Like some people, I don't see everything as perfect. Everything has flaws. So I point them out. - So you are one of those people who bitch about everything.. So noted. Every year you have these complaints and yet they still haven't changed the calendar. Hmmm.. Well, since MOST calendars in society have holes provided, I shouldn't have to buy a puncher for just one calendar who isn't doing the obvious. -This isn't most calendars - this is the Todd and Tyler Calendar and they do it their way. There is nothing obvious about them, they are unique that is why they are so good. Tell that to calendar publishers. - You tell that to Todd and Tyler - call them and bitch to them about the calendar.. PLEASE.. Well yeah. Cause you didn't address the other issues I brought up either. (good Response - not ) What other issues??.. Amount of time? I think it took me 5 minutes to write that last e-mail.
