| Re: TnT Show 02-02-07 They replayed a clip from yesterday when Mark Lundholm was in the studio, and a guy called that was in dire straits and nearly suicidal. Mark had some discussions with him, and took him to breakfast this morning to try to help the guy with his alcoholism. Big thanks to Mark! | Re: TnT Show 02-02-07 -more TnT argument as to the gayness of the word "hoodie" instead of hooded sweatshirt; also, the pronunciation of aunt as ANT or ONT... -Trav talked about how sports media is blowing Nick Saben's comments about Cajun people is just stupid, and TnT agree -Craig did a story about how NASA lost the original film of the first lunar landing... -Tnt, when talking with Mark about the guy who was suicidal, asked what they should say if they got that phone call. Mark said to tell caller to put his car keys, home key, pictures of friends and family, etc. on table and think about what caller is choosing to give up. In addition, Mark told caller to call a close friend and ask how that person's life is going, saying it helps to think about someone else's life...lessens agony of caller's own. TnT joked by saying such things: "Wouldn't it suck if you called someone who was having a really bad day as well? Or if that person you called said, 'Hey, you owe me money!'" -Mark said he draws a really sharp line at suicide: it is the most selfish thing a person can do
