Recently, Todd and Tyler talked about the new Journey lead singer, Arnel Pineda, who sounds just like Steve Perry (former frontman for Journey)

Being Philipino (Asian), they guys joked that this must be the new setlist of Journey songs on tour....

With the age of the internet, its possible that we would've never heard of Arnel. I believe Neal Schon & Jon Kain saw him on You Tube belting out Journey songs. Same thing with Tommy Decarlo (Boston's new lead singer) . Here's a guy who was working at a Home Depot while belting out Boston / Karyoke . Unbelievable...Paul McCartneys band were young session players in London with little experience..Paul heard them laying down a demo ..shortly after listening to the demo ..Paul asks this band to go on the road...amazing !

Right place at the right time...I'm still waiting for my shot at drumming for The Black Crowes ..lol!

From what I researched, Journey's drummer (forgot his name) can do a pretty good Steve Perry in a pinch, and when the "Steve that replaced Steve" Perry came up with some throat problems, the drummer sang a few of Journey's harder songs.
